Approach & Modalities
Healing is deeply personal—there is no single path, no one-size-fits-all approach. In our work together, I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities to meet you where you are, while always centering our relationship as the foundation for healing. My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and holistic, honoring both the mind and body, past and present, and the self within the systems we exist in.
Below, you’ll find more about the people I work with, the therapeutic modalities I integrate, and the heart of my approach: creating a steady, attuned, and honest space where healing can unfold.
Who I Work With & My Approach
The people who seek my services are often deep feelers, seekers, and changemakers—people committed to understanding themselves and breaking generational cycles. Many are:
• 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals, including those exploring gender, identity, and self-acceptance.
• BIPOC individuals, immigrants, and children of immigrants, navigating intergenerational healing, belonging, and identity formation.
• People committed to deep inner work, breaking long-held patterns and processing trauma.
• Couples who want to build an honest, strong relational foundation—whether monogamous, polyamorous, or exploring open relationships.
• Individuals moving through grief, life transitions, and identity shifts who seek meaning and connection.
With 10+ years of experience, I’ve developed an eclectic, integrative, and relational approach to therapy—one that honors both the mind and the body, the past and the present, the self and the systems we exist in. I approach therapy through a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and holistic lens, drawing from multiple modalities to meet each client’s unique needs.
I integrate a range of modalities that support deep healing, self-discovery, and transformation, including:
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Understanding and integrating different parts of the self.
Somatic Therapy
Connecting with the wisdom of the body in healing trauma.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Cultivating psychological flexibility and self-compassion.
Brainspotting
Accessing deeper emotional healing through neurobiological attunement.
Existential & Narrative Therapies
Exploring meaning-making, identity, and personal storytelling.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
Strengthening emotional bonds & relational security in couples.
The Modalities I Use
The Heart of Therapy: A Relational Approach
While these modalities provide powerful tools, the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship itself—a steady, honest, and respectful space where deep healing and transformation happen. Therapy is more than a method; it’s a process of attunement, trust, and discovery. No modality matters as much as feeling seen, supported, and understood.
-
IFS or “parts work” helps us understand and heal different “parts” of ourselves—our inner protector parts, wounded parts, and core self. This approach allows us to create more self-awareness, compassion, and integration between these parts, rather than feeling stuck in patterns of self-judgment or inner conflict.
In our work, we explore these parts gently, helping them feel seen and heard so that they no longer need to act in survival mode. This can be especially powerful for trauma healing, self-criticism, and inner emotional conflicts.
-
Somatic therapy recognizes that trauma and emotions are not just stored in the mind—they also live in the body. This approach helps you reconnect with your body’s wisdom and access deeper healing through awareness, movement, breath, and nervous system regulation.
Rather than only talking about past experiences, somatic work invites you to notice bodily sensations, emotions, and patterns, helping you feel more grounded and safe in your own body. This can be particularly supportive for trauma recovery, chronic stress, and dissociation.
-
ACT helps you build a more flexible and compassionate relationship with your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Instead of fighting or avoiding difficult feelings, ACT teaches you how to accept them with self-compassion while also committing to actions that align with your values.
In therapy, we work on mindfulness, self-acceptance, and identifying what truly matters to you—so that you can move forward in life with greater clarity and purpose. ACT is particularly helpful for anxiety, perfectionism, and navigating major life transitions.
-
Brainspotting is a powerful, brain-based therapeutic approach that helps access and process deeply held emotional pain, trauma, and subconscious patterns. By focusing on specific eye positions (or “brainspots”), we activate the brain’s natural ability to heal itself and release stored trauma.
This approach allows for profound emotional processing without needing to verbalize every detail of past experiences. It is particularly effective for trauma, PTSD, and emotional blocks that feel difficult to access through traditional talk therapy.
-
These approaches focus on meaning-making, personal storytelling, and identity exploration. Existential therapy helps you navigate life’s uncertainties and embrace your sense of agency, while narrative therapy helps reframe personal narratives so that you feel more empowered in your story.
Together, these modalities help shift limiting beliefs, bring clarity to life’s challenges, and support you in redefining your personal journey. They are particularly helpful for grief, identity shifts, and rediscovering personal meaning.

EFT helps couples strengthen emotional bonds, deepen connection, and create more secure relationships. Rooted in attachment theory, this approach guides partners in understanding their relational patterns, healing emotional wounds, and building a foundation of trust, intimacy, and mutual support.
Our work together will focus on identifying negative cycles, fostering emotional safety, and creating new patterns of communication that enhance closeness and understanding. EFT is particularly effective for couples who want to repair ruptures, rebuild trust, or deepen their emotional connection.
Below, you’ll find more details about each modality I use in my practice. While each approach offers its own framework, what matters most is how we use them together in a way that honors your unique healing journey.

Each of these modalities is woven into therapy in a way that meets your specific needs. Our work together is not about rigid techniques, but about co-creating a shared space that honors your own pace, lived experience, and inner wisdom. Healing unfolds in its own time, and our sessions are a place where you can move toward self-reclamation, deep healing, and transformation—on your terms.
If this resonates with you, I invite you to take the next step and book a session with me.
